Ingredients
- 1 garlic clove
- 500 ml. of cold water
- 130 g. almonds, skinless and raw
- 150 g. bread crumbs from the day before soaked in water
- 2 tablespoons of vinegar
- 100 ml. of olive oil
- Grapes for garnish
- Salt to taste
How To Make It
Step 1:
We begin the preparation of our ajo blanco, for this, in the blender or in a grinder we add the water, the bread crumbs, the almonds, the garlic clove and we grind very well (about 4 minutes).
Step 2:
We add the vinegar, olive oil, a little salt and beat for 2 more minutes and take it to the refrigerator to cool very well and to take more body (you will see that the longer it is in the fridge, its texture will get thicker).
Step 3:
We remove the ajo blanco from the fridge, add some grapes on top and enjoy!!! I hope you like it!!!
Tips To Prepare It
If you are going to prepare this ajo blanco recipe, I recommend you to use very good quality almonds, since a better result will depend on them.
Regarding the bread, it must be from the previous day and only the crumb should be used, so you must remove all the crust.
It is important to leave the ajo blanco a few hours in the refrigerator so that it takes more body and is very cold when it is time to serve.
