The bacalhau à brás or also known as golden cod is a typical food from our neighboring country Portugal, specifically from the city of Lisbon, which is made with cod crumbs.
It can be said that the bacalhau à bras is a recipe of use, since to make it we must use crumbs or pieces of cod that we have left over from other elaborations, additionally other ingredients are used to provide more flavor and make a more complete dish, they are eggs, onion and some straw potatoes and to decorate some black olives and a little chopped fresh parsley.

- 600 g. of codfish crumbs
- 3 potatoes cut into straws
- 3 beaten eggs
- 1 onion, diced
- Chopped fresh parsley
- Black olives for garnish
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our bacalhau à brás, for it, we cut the potatoes in the form of potatoes straw, for it, we can use a mandolin or cut them to knife, this is not another thing that cut very thin slices and then strips, then we fry them until golden brown.
Step 2: In another pan with a little olive oil and medium heat, we will cook the onion for 2 minutes, then we will add the cod crumbs and stir, then add the potatoes and stir, finally add the beaten eggs (add a little salt) and stir everything very well, cook until the eggs have set but not dry, it should be juicy, remove from heat, serve on a plate, add some black olives on top, a little chopped parsley and we have ready our rich bacalhau à brás.
