- 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 5 tablespoons of aji amarillo paste
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 boiled egg
- 1 avocado cut in slices
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Aji amarillo sauce for garnish

How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our causa limeña, for it, in a pot we put abundant water and we take to the fire, when we see that it begins to boil, we add the potatoes with everything and their skin and we let them cook for 25 minutes or until we see that the potatoes are already done (the time of cooking will depend on the type of potato that is used).
Step 2: While the potatoes are cooking, we are going to prepare our stuffing. To do this, in a bowl add the tuna, red onion, fresh cilantro, mayonnaise, a little salt and stir everything well until well integrated.
Step 3: Once the potatoes are cooked, remove them from the water, let them cool a little, remove the skin and with the help of a potato masher, we are going to mash them very well until we obtain a kind of puree.
Step 4: Add to the mashed potatoes a little salt, the lemon juice, the aji amarillo paste and with the help of your hands, mix everything very well until it is well blended.
Step 5: In a plate we place a circular mold like the one we show you in the video, then we add a little of the potato mixture and press very well so that it is compact, then we add some avocado slices to cover, then we add a little of our tuna filling, we place again a layer of potatoes, we press again so that it compacts well and we remove the mold upwards very carefully.
Step 6: Place half of the boiled egg on top, add some chopped fresh cilantro, a little of the aji amarillo sauce and our delicious causa limeña is ready.
