Today I bring you one of those recipes that I love for how rich it is and how easy it is to prepare it, chicken in bacon cream sauce, basically consists of preparing a creamy sauce based on bacon in which we will cook our chicken to give it all those smoky flavors of bacon and a creamy texture that will please everyone, follow our step-by-step videos where we explain you the whole process to elaborate this delicious recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken breast cut into fillets
- 1 onion cut into small squares
- 120 g. chopped bacon
- 200 ml. cooking cream
- 30 g. butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make It
Step 1:
We begin the preparation of our chicken in bacon sauce, for this we salt and pepper our chicken fillets and reserve them, then in a frying pan at medium high temperature, add the bacon and let it brown, remove and reserve.
Step 2:
In the same pan where we cooked the bacon, place the chicken fillets and cook until golden brown on both sides, remove and set aside.
Step 3:
In the same pan, we are going to add the butter until melted, then add the onion and let it cook for a couple of minutes, then add the cream and let it cook for a couple of minutes more, now add the chicken fillets, the bacon, a little salt and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4:
Remove from the heat and our chicken in bacon sauce is ready.
Tips To Prepare It
For this chicken in bacon sauce recipe, you can use chicken breast fillets or chicken thigh fillets.
If you don't have cream, you can substitute plain unsweetened yogurt or Greek yogurt.
