Ingredients
- 300 g. canned chickpeas
- 300 g. spinach
- 400 ml. of vegetable broth
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 100 ml. of crushed natural tomato
- 1 teaspoon of powdered sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil
How To Make It
Step 1:
We begin the preparation of our chickpeas with spinach, for this, in a casserole with a little olive oil and over medium heat, add the onion, garlic and let cook for a couple of minutes.
Step 2:
Add the crushed natural tomato, stir and let it cook for 3 minutes, then add the spinach and cook until it reduces in size (at first you will think it is a lot of spinach, but as it cooks it will lose its volume).
Step 3:
Add the canned chickpeas and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4:
Add the paprika, cumin powder, a little salt, stir and cook for 1 minute.
Step 5:
Add the natural vegetable broth, stir and when we see that it begins to bubble, cook for 5 minutes and remove from heat (add salt if necessary), serve in a deep dish and we have ready our delicious and easy chickpeas with spinach.
