- 300 g. (10.6 oz / 0.66 lb) canned chick peas
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 300 ml (10.2 oz) crushed natural tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt to taste
- Olive oil
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our chickpeas with tomato, for this, in a pan with a little olive oil and over medium heat, add the onion, garlic and let cook for a couple of minutes, then add the tomato, a little salt, cumin powder, oregano, stir well and let cook for 6 minutes.
Step 2: Add the chickpeas, stir and let cook for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and now we just have to enjoy these rich and healthy chickpeas.
Tips To Prepare It
For this recipe we use canned cooked chickpeas, although we can also cook chickpeas at home, if we go for the first option, we must first place the chickpeas in a colander and put them under the tap, so that we remove all the collagen that they bring.
