Today we are going to prepare a delicious country salad, easy and very quick to prepare, it is the classic summer potato salad very typical of Spanish cuisine, as for the ingredients of this salad, first and foremost, is the potato and then you can add other vegetables such as onion, spring onion, peppers or boiled egg, and it's a little to everyone's taste.
Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes cooked and cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 onion cut into small squares
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 can of canned natural tuna
- 15 green or black olives cut in rounds (pitted)
- 2 boiled eggs, chopped
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our country salad, for this, in a large bowl add the boiled potatoes, tomato, onion, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, natural tuna, olives and stir until well integrated.
Step 2: In another container we are going to prepare the vinaigrette, add the olive oil, white wine vinegar, salt, pepper and mix.
Step 3: Then add the vinaigrette to our country salad and stir well (add salt if necessary), add the boiled egg on top, a little fresh parsley to decorate and we have ready our delicious country salad.
Tips To Prepare It
You can keep the salad in the refrigerator before serving to keep it cooler.
You can add the boiled egg, chopped or sliced, as you like!
In this country salad recipe, we use green olives with peppers, but you can add whatever you like.
