We have two ways to prepare this creamed corn recipe, the first is using sweet corn in kernels, those that come in cans and the second is to use corn cobs, in the case of today's recipe, we opted for the first option to save us some time.
Another important point when preparing this creamed corn is to use a natural chicken broth, you can prepare it yourself at home or buy it directly at the supermarket.

Ingredients
- 420 g. sweet corn in kernels (canned)
- 1 onion, diced
- 30 g. butter
- 7 g. all-purpose flour
- 400 ml. of chicken broth
- 50 ml. of cooking cream or single cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our creamed corn, for this, in a pot add the butter and let it melt, then add the onion and cook for a couple of minutes, then add the sweet corn kernels, stir and cook for 4 minutes.
Step 2: Add the wheat flour and stir, then add the chicken broth, stir again and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 3: After 10 minutes, add the cooking cream, a little salt, a little pepper, stir and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4: Remove from the heat, incorporate in the blender, blend for 2 minutes and we have our delicious creamed corn ready! Enjoy!
Tips To Prepare It
For this creamed corn recipe, we use a natural chicken broth, you can prepare it at home or buy it ready-made in supermarkets, what is important is that it is natural for a better result.
If you do not have cooking cream or single cream, you can substitute it with milk.
You can prepare this creamed corn using sweet corn kernels or corn cobs.
