Ingredients
- Juice of 5 lemons
- Zest of one lemon
- 4 lemon slices
- 100 g sugar
- 800 ml water
- Ice
- Mint leaves
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin preparing our lemonade by making a kind of syrup. In a pot, add 400 ml of water, the sugar, and the lemon peel. Stir and cook over low heat for 5 minutes or until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat, remove the lemon peel, and let cool.
Step 2: In a pitcher with ice, add 250 ml of our syrup (any leftover syrup can be stored in the refrigerator to make a second pitcher), then add the lemon juice, the remaining 400 ml of water, the lemon slices, and mix well. Take a glass, add some ice, a few mint leaves, then add the lemonade and enjoy.
