Today we are going to show you how to prepare a delicious lentil and tuna salad, perfect for spring or summer, it is advisable to prepare it and let it refrigerate for at least an hour, so that it is very fresh when it is time to eat it. To prepare it we have two options, use canned lentils or what is the same, canned lentils, as is the case of today's recipe or cook raw lentils at home, of course the first option will save us much more time, what we do recommend in the case of canned lentils, is to use a good quality for a better result and remember to remove them from the can and wash them thoroughly under the tap to remove all the collagen they bring.
As for the ingredients for the salad, it goes a little to taste, this time we have decided to use ingredients such as tomatoes, onion and cucumber, but you can add the ones you like, as long as they combine well and are balanced in flavor, as for the dressing or vinaigrette, we will make it as simple as possible, with a little apple cider vinegar, olive oil and salt.

- 400 g. / 14 oz. / 0.88 lb. canned lentils
- 110 g. / 3.88 oz. canned tuna (natural)
- 1/2 onion cut into small squares
- 1 tomato cut into squares
- 1 cucumber cut into small squares
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our lentil and tuna salad, for this, in a bowl add the lentils, onion, tomato, cucumber and canned tuna and stir until everything is well integrated.
Step 2: Add a little salt, a little pepper, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, stir and our delicious lentil salad is ready (if you like cooler salads, keep it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour).
Tips To Prepare It
Remove the lentils from the jar and place them in a colander under the tap until all the collagen is removed.
For this recipe we use ingredients such as onion, tomato, among others, but you can add whatever you like.
