Ingredients
- 300 g. of pardinas lentils
- 1.3 liters of vegetable broth
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 carrots cut into rounds
- 3 potatoes cut into chunks
- 1 tomato cut into small squares
- 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 bay leaf
- Pepper and salt to taste
- Olive oil
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our lentils with vegetables, for this, in a pan with a little olive oil and over medium heat, add the onion and cook for a couple of minutes, then add the tomato and cook for 3 more minutes, then add the carrots and cook for a couple of minutes.
Step 2: Add the sweet paprika, stir and cook for 1 minute, add our lentils and sauté, add the hot vegetable broth, a little salt, cumin, a little pepper, bay leaf and when we see that the lentils begin to boil, lower the heat and cook for 30 minutes.
Step 3: After 30 minutes, add our potatoes and cook for 10 more minutes or until they are well done (this time will depend on the cut size of the potatoes), remove from the heat and our delicious lentils with vegetables are ready.
