If you want to surprise your guests with a delicious dish, full of flavor, international and best of all, very easy and quick to prepare, this recipe is perfect, it is the saganaki prawns, a typical Greek dish, its preparation could not be simpler and its result is a delight, basically it is prepared from a sauce with onion, crushed tomato, pepper and chili, in which the prawns are cooked and finally feta cheese is added.
Ingredients
- 350 g. (12 oz.) of raw and clean shrimp
- 1 chopped onion
- 70 ml. of crushed natural tomato
- 40 g. (1.5 oz.) feta cheese cut into pieces
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Chilli pepper to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
How To Make It
Step 1: In a frying pan over medium heat with a little olive oil, add the onion and cook until transparent (about 3 minutes approximately), then add the crushed tomato, salt, pepper, sugar, chili pepper and cook for about 10 minutes.
Step 2: Add the prawns and let them cook for 1 to 2 minutes (we turn them over so that they cook on both sides), serve on a plate, add the feta cheese and our saganaki prawns are ready.
Tips To Prepare It
You can use prawns or shrimps, but remember that they must be raw and clean.
