Ingredients
- 300 g / 10.6 oz fresh salmon, cut into small cubes
- 1 avocado, cut into small cubes
- 10 capers, finely chopped
- 1/4 red onion, finely diced
- 10 pickles, chopped
- 4 tablespoons Perrins or Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin preparing our salmon tartare by placing the salmon, pickles, red onion, capers, Perrins sauce or Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, teaspoon of mustard, a little salt, and a little pepper in a bowl and mixing everything together well until combined.
Step 2: Then, on a plate and with the help of a round mold, add the avocado until it covers the bottom, then add the salmon mixture, carefully remove the mold, add a little more pepper and sesame seeds on top, and your delicious salmon tartare is ready.
Tips To Prepare It
For this salmon tartare recipe, it is important to use very fresh salmon and freeze it for at least 4 or 5 days at a temperature of -20 degrees to prevent possible infection by bacteria such as anisakis.
You can add a little fresh chives to this salmon tartar, it goes great with it.
