Ingredients
- 250 g. (0.55 lbs) fresh spinach
- 200 ml (6.8 oz) chicken stock
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- Grated cheese for garnish
- Croutons to decorate
- Olive oil
How To Make It
Step 1:
In a pot at medium temperature and with a little olive oil, add the onion and garlic and cook for a couple of minutes, then add the spinach and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 2:
Add the chicken broth and let it cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove from the heat and pour into a blender and blend until creamy.
Step 3:
Serve in a deep dish, add a little cheese and croutons on top and our delicious spinach cream is ready.
Tips To Prepare It
For this creamed spinach recipe, we use chicken broth, but you can also use vegetable broth.
If you like your creamed spinach thicker, you can add a little cream.
Preferably use fresh spinach.
