Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower
- 2 eggs
- All-purpose wheat flour
- Panko or bread crumbs
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our battered cauliflower, to do this, we clean the cauliflower very well and cut all the cauliflower florets, then we place a pot on the fire with water and when we see that it is boiling, we place the steamer on top (if you do not have a steamer, you can use a strainer or just cook the cauliflower in the water for 10 minutes) add the cauliflower florets, a pinch of salt, cover and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Step 2: We take a sprig of cauliflower and pass it through the flour, so that it is well covered, then we pass it through the beaten egg (add a pinch of salt to the eggs) and finally through the panko or breadcrumbs, repeat this process with all the cauliflower florets.
Step 3: In a pot with oil and at medium temperature (the oil does not smoke) we introduce the cauliflower florets and cook them until they are golden brown, it will take between 1 and 2 minutes approximately, then we remove them from the oil and place them on absorbent paper to remove excess fat and we have ready our rich battered cauliflower.
Tips To Prepare It
Wash the cauliflower very well before starting the recipe and cut all the cauliflower florets.
When frying the battered cauliflower, use a medium temperature, if you see that the oil starts to smoke, lower the temperature.
