Ingredients To Prepare Beef stew with potatoes
- 600 g. of beef cut into bite-sized cubes (the one of your choice, it can be an inexpensive one)
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 carrot cut in slices
- 2 garlic cloves chopped
- 1 red bell pepper cut into small squares
- 100 g. of crushed natural tomato
- 100 ml. of red wine
- 60 ml. of beef broth
- 2 potatoes previously boiled and cut in cubes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
How To Make Beef stew with potatoes
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our beef stew with potatoes, for this, in a saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil until hot, then add the onion, garlic, red bell pepper, carrot, salt, stir and let cook for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Add the tomato and red wine, let the alcohol evaporate (2 to 3 minutes), then add the beef broth and cook for 5 more minutes, remove from heat, blend and strain.
Step 3: On the other hand we are going to salt and pepper and flour the pieces of meat and then we are going to brown them in a saucepan with a little olive oil at medium high temperature.
Step 4: Add the previously prepared sauce and let it cook for 45 minutes to an hour, so that the meat is tender.
Step 5: When the cooking of the meat is almost finished, add the cooked potatoes and let it cook for 5 more minutes, remove from the heat and our beef stew with potatoes is ready! enjoy!
