Ingredients

  • 600 g. of beef cut into bite-sized cubes (the one of your choice, it can be an inexpensive one)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 carrot cut in slices
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into small squares
  • 100 g. of crushed natural tomato
  • 100 ml. of red wine
  • 60 ml. of beef broth
  • 2 potatoes previously boiled and cut in cubes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

How To Make It

Step 1:

We begin the preparation of our beef stew with potatoes, for this, in a saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil until hot, then add the onion, garlic, red bell pepper, carrot, salt, stir and let cook for 10 minutes.

Add the tomato and red wine, let the alcohol evaporate (2 to 3 minutes), then add the beef broth and cook for 5 more minutes, remove from heat, blend and strain.
