Ingredients
- 10 cheese
- 3 eggs
- 130 g. (4.6 oz) sugar
- 25 g. (1 1/2 tbsp.) cornstarch
- 250 g. (3.5 oz) Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our cheese wedges cake, for this we preheat the oven to 200º C / 392 °F with heat up and down. Then, in a bowl add the cheese, yogurt, eggs, sugar, cornstarch and with the help of a whisk (can be manual or electric) begin to mix until all ingredients are perfectly integrated and there are no lumps (about 5 minutes).
Step 2: In a baking dish covered with parchment paper or greased with butter (in this case we used a 20 cm springform pan) we will add our mixture and then take it to the oven for between 35 and 40 minutes (the cooking time will depend on each oven, to make sure the cake is ready, you can prick it with a toothpick at 35 minutes, if it comes out clean it is ready, otherwise, leave it a few minutes more).
Step 3: After the cooking time, remove our cake from the oven and let it cool completely (place the container on a rack) once it has cooled, unmold it and we have our delicious cheese wedges cake ready, enjoy it.
Tips To Prepare It
To prepare this cheese wedges cake recipe, you can use either Greek yogurt or plain yogurt, we use Greek yogurt because it is creamier and gives a better texture to the cake.
Once the cake is ready, remove it from the oven and let it cool completely on a wire rack (with everything and the mold) to avoid humidity.
