Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast cut into strips
- 2 carrots chopped in thin strips
- 1 stalk celery chopped in thin strips
- 1 onion chopped in julienne strips
- 1 green bell pepper chopped in strips
- 150 g. cooked ham, chopped in thin strips
- 200 g. of bean sprouts
- 200 g. cabbage chopped in thin strips
- 1/2 tablespoon of 5 Chinese spices
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil
How To Make It
Step 1:
We begin the preparation of our chop suey with chicken, for this, in a very hot wok we add a little vegetable oil, then add the chicken, salt and let it cook until golden brown. Set aside.
Step 2:
In the same wok we add the vegetable oil and sesame oil, let it heat and add the carrot and celery, let it cook for a couple of minutes, then add the green bell pepper, onion and cook for 2 more minutes.
Step 3:
Add the chicken, the ham chopped into thin strips, the bean sprouts and stir, then add the cabbage, the 5 Chinese spices, the soy sauce, mix and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 4:
Remove from the heat and our delicious chop suey with chicken is ready! enjoy!
Tips To Prepare It
For this chicken chop suey recipe, you can use pork, chicken or beef, you can also add shrimp, it goes great.
