Today we are preparing a recipe that has recently become very fashionable, it is chickpea hummus, a very healthy and low calorie dish, originally from ancient Egypt and also widely consumed in countries such as Palestine, Armenia or Greece, among others.

- 400 gr. cooked chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon of tahini
- 1 clove of garlic
- Juice of half a lemon
- Paprika powder
- Sesame seeds
- Olive oil
- Salt to taste
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our chickpea hummus, to do this, in a blender add the chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic and salt, beat until a creamy texture.
Step 2: Place in a bowl and add the paprika powder, sesame and olive oil and our chickpea hummus is ready.
Tips To Prepare It
The tahini to make this chickpea hummus, you can find it in some supermarkets or Arab stores, you can also make it at home, its preparation consists of sesame seeds and sesame oil, all crushed with the help of a hand blender until you get a paste.
You can add a little water when making this chickpea hummus to help you blend it better.
