Step 3:

We put a pan over low heat, spread a little butter and add a little of our mixture (half a ladle of soup for a pan size as shown in the video) we give circular movements to the pan as I show you in the video, so that the dough covers the entire base, let cook for 1 minute and a half or until you see that the top of the pancake is no longer liquid, we turn it over and cook for 1 minute more (repeat this process until all the pancake batter is used up).

What can we accompany this recipe with?

Preguntas y respuestas

Can I use another type of flour instead of all-purpose flour?

Yes, you can use whole wheat flour or gluten-free flour if you prefer a different option, please note that the texture of the pancakes may vary slightly.

Can I make the pancake batter ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the batter in advance and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, mix it well before using it.

Is it necessary to let the batter rest for 20 minutes?

Yes, leaving the batter to rest helps the flour to hydrate completely and the crepes to be softer and more homogeneous.

What can I do if my pancake batter is too runny or too thick?

If the batter is too runny, you can add a little more flour to thicken it, if it is too thick, add a little more milk until you reach the desired consistency.

What is the best way to keep the crepes warm while I finish cooking the rest?

Stack them on a plate and cover them with a clean cloth or aluminum foil, another option is to keep them in an oven at low temperature (approximately 90°C).
