What can we accompany this recipe with?

Preguntas y respuestas

Is it important to let the filling mixture sit before pouring it over the cookie base?

Letting the mixture sit allows it to cool slightly and thicken a bit, this will help prevent the cookie base from getting too moist and losing its crunchy texture.

How else could you decorate the cake instead of adding dulce de leche on top?

You could decorate with chopped nuts, chocolate shavings, shredded coconut or a thin layer of caramel or jam.

What cookies could I use for the base?

You could use Digestive cookies, Maria cookies, graham crackers or even chocolate chip cookies, each option will bring a slightly different flavor and texture.
