Ingredients
- 500 g. wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 beaten eggs
- 130 g. sugar
- 200 ml. whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
- Honey to taste for serving
How To Make It
Step 1:
We begin the preparation of our gorditas de nata, for this, in a bowl add the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder and integrate very well, then add the beaten eggs, cream, vanilla and mix with the help of a spatula.
Step 2:
On a flat surface with a little flour, we pour our dough and knead very well with our hands until we obtain a smooth and homogeneous texture. We put the dough back in the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 3:
After the resting time, we turn again the dough of our gorditas de nata on a flat surface with a little flour and with the help of a rolling pin, stretch, then with the help of a circular mold, we will go forming circles as I show you in the video (the leftover dough you stretch it again and continue forming circles until all the dough is used up).
Step 4:
In a frying pan at low temperature, place the gorditas de nata and let them cook on both sides (approximately 15 minutes).
Step 5:
Remove from the pan, let cool for a couple of minutes, add a little honey on top and our delicious gorditas de nata are ready to enjoy.
Tips To Prepare It
