Ingredients
- 600 g (1.3 lbs) of entrecote cut in thick pieces
- 2 red onions cut into pieces
- The stalk of a spring onion cut into pieces
- 1 yellow chili bell pepper cut into thin strips
- 1 tomato cut in strips (without the pulp)
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our lomo saltado, to do this, in a bowl add the meat, the shredded garlic, a little salt, a little pepper and stir, then in a wok or frying pan at medium high temperature and with a good splash of olive oil (you can use vegetable oil) add the meat, cook for about 8 minutes and set aside.
Step 2: In the same wok add the red onion, the yellow chili and cook for a couple of minutes, then add the tomato and cook for 2 minutes, then add the meat and its juices, the soy sauce, the white wine vinegar, stir and cook for 2 minutes, finally add the spring onion, stir again, remove from the heat and we have our delicious sautéed tenderloin.

As for the type of meat to be used to prepare lomo saltado, we recommend that it be a good quality one, such as an entrecote steak or a sirloin steak, among others.
