Strawberry panna cotta

Panna cotta is a traditional Italian dessert, its ingredients are very basic and the result is a delight! The panna cotta is made with cream, sugar and gelling agents, it is usually accompanied with jams of red fruits, strawberries, peaches and even chocolate, its texture is very creamy and its flavors you will love, the best thing about this panna cotta is that it is made in a few minutes, it takes a long time in the refrigerator, between 4 and 5 hours to set perfectly, but it is worth the wait!
Ingredients
- 500 ml. of whipping cream
- 8 g. of neutral gelatine powder or 3 gelatine sheets
- 100 g. sugar
- 5 drops of vanilla essence or vanilla pods
- 400 g. diced strawberries (for the topping)
- 2 tablespoons of sugar (for the topping)
- 40 ml. water (for the topping)
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our strawberry panna cotta, for this, in a saucepan add the whipping cream, sugar, vanilla essence and cook over medium heat, when we see that begins to boil, turn off the heat and add the gelatin previously hydrated in water and mix until it is very well integrated.
Step 2: Add the pancake mixture in molds, let cool to room temperature and then place in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 hours covered with plastic wrap.
Step 3: On the other hand we are going to prepare our strawberry topping, for this, in a pan add the cut strawberries, sugar, water and let cook until a sticky texture is formed (like that of a jam, about 15 minutes) remove from heat and set aside.
Step 4: After the time in the refrigerator, add the strawberry topping to taste to our panna cotta and we have our Italian dessert ready, enjoy!
Tips To Prepare It
The vanilla is optional, with the basic ingredients we will obtain an equally delicious result.
