Ingredients
- 4 slices of brioche bread
- 400 ml. whole milk
- 40 g. sugar
- 60 g. butter
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Lemon peel
How To Make It
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our torrijas, for this, in a pot we add the milk, the cinnamon stick, the lemon peel and let it cook for 10 minutes over low heat (do not let it boil).
Step 2: Place the slices of brioche bread in a deep bowl, add the infused milk on top and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Step 3: We put a pan on the fire (medium low heat) add the butter and let it melt, then add the sugar, stir, place the brioche bread, we will cook about 6 minutes on each side or until golden brown and caramelized, remove them from the pan and now we just have to enjoy these delicious torrijas with brioche.
