Baked onion chicken
Ingredients To Prepare Baked onion chicken
- 8 pieces of chicken (your choice)
- 3 onions cut into julienne strips
- Juice of one lemon
- 2 tablespoons of panela (cane sugar) or brown sugar
- 160 ml. of white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
How To Make Baked onion chicken
Step 1: We begin the preparation of our baked chicken onion, for this, in a bowl place the chicken pieces, add the lemon juice, salt, pepper and stir with your hands, then in a skillet over medium heat and with a little olive oil, add the chicken pieces and seal them, remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2: In another frying pan at medium temperature and with a little olive oil, add the onion and let it cook until it becomes transparent (approximately 8 minutes), then add the panela or brown sugar and stir, add the white wine, let the alcohol evaporate (approximately 2 minutes) and remove from the heat.
Step 3: In an oven-proof container, place the sealed chicken pieces and add the reserved onions and their juices on top. Bake in the oven at 200 ºC for 45 minutes.
Step 4: Once the cooking time has elapsed, remove from the oven and we have our delicious chicken with onions ready!
