Ingredients
- 250 g. all-purpose flour
- 100 g. butter at room temperature
- 150 g. sugar
- Juice of a lemon
- The zest of one lemon
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
How To Make It
Step 1:
We begin to prepare our lemon cookies, for this, in a bowl add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix.
Step 2:
In another bowl, add the sugar, butter and with the help of an electric whisk, mix everything very well, then add the beaten egg, lemon juice, lemon zest and continue beating.
Step 3:
Incorporate the flour mixture and with the help of a spatula, integrate very well until a homogeneous dough is obtained.
Step 4:
Now we are going to form our lemon cookies, to do this, we take a portion of the dough and form a ball, then we place it on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper (repeat this process until all the dough of the cookies is used up) try to leave space between ball and ball so that when baking them, they do not stick together, then we take our lemon cookies to the oven at 180 ºC for 10 to 12 minutes.
